Nearly 300 scientists and doctors have signed an open letter to Spotify, demanding the platform to take action against podcaster Joe Rogan, who they say has a "concerning history" of broadcasting misinformation in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rogan has been both criticized and praised for giving dissenting voices like Dr. Robert Malone, and Dr. Peter McCullough a platform to express their professional medical opinions regarding COVID-19.

The letter was written after an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience featured Malone, who had recently been banned from Twitter for promoting COVID-19 information that opposed the mainstream media's narrative.
