What Happened in Kenosha Wisconsin on August 25th, 2020?

First, we need to go back 48-hours prior when on August 23rd, 2020 Kenosha Police responded to a 911 call about a domestic violence complaint against a male Black man, Jacob Blake. Blake, 29, was forbidden from going to the Kenosha home of his alleged victim from the May 3 incident, and police were dispatched Sunday following the 911 call saying he was there. The responding officers were aware he had an open warrant for felony sexual assault, according to dispatch records and the Kenosha Professional Police Association on the incident. The police attempted to arrest Jacob, but while in progress to seize Jacob; he was shot 6 times in the back. Police contend the shooting was justified because Jacob was holding a knife while avoiding any attempt to comply and trying to enter his vehicle. A Kenosha police officer ends up shooting him, not fatally, but Jacob Blake is now paralyzed. A blogger or live streamer, Corey Washington in the area posted the footage of the altercation on the Internet and it went viral prompting local community members, and Black Lives Matter activists to descend onto this town to protest and voice their grievance at what most felt was excessive force by the police on an innocent Black man. However, what is most blindly ignored is Jacob Blake had a knife, and although his lawyer would argue he didn’t pose a threat – one has to ask; how do you know for sure? Why didn’t he just comply as the police attempted to deescalate the situation? Of course, that is an intelligent argument no one dares take up because it would demonstrate several things – some individuals refuse to listen to authority and their disdain for law enforcement. That in this day and age – protesting with intent to cause damage like looting, rioting, arson, and violence against law enforcement is the new norm.

The next 48 hours would be the beginning of a nightmarish chain of events all because of police presence, which seemed to grow as more and more people started showing up at the scene of the incident. In the mix of people in the crowd were agitators and community youths bent on voicing their beliefs this was another example of police targeting young Black men and a call to defund the police department as well. As the situation in Kenosha was escalating a group of militia volunteers gathered to provide police assistance and protect the community from violent acts against property and residences. However, this seemed to create an atmosphere of resentment by the protestors because the group was mostly white males. A local militia group called the Kenosha Guard posted a call to arms by the member and former City Councilmen David Mathewson requesting for patriots to come to Kenosha to help defend and prevent additional destruction within this small town. But as with anything posted on Facebook, it drew attention not only from volunteers but Black Lives Matter activists, and social justice supporters, and agitators bent on escalating a volatile situation to become ground zero for rioting, looting, arson, and public destruction.

The next day in Kenosha's downtown Civic Park area, local youths along with Black Lives Matter activists held a relatively peaceful march to protest against police violence and Racial Injustice against Black men. However, in the advent of several nights of outright anarchy; more and more supporters of Racial Injustice Groups and volunteers to protect Kenosha descended upon the City of Kenosha to either help protect remaining businesses from destruction or to cause more destruction through arson or vandalism. And this is an indisputable fact, that Kenosha was under siege from the extremists purporting to be peaceful protestors and it was inevitable this situation was a powder keg with a lit fuse. Let’s pause for a moment to look at what peaceful protests brought to this town.
At this point; tensions were escalating and civility was eroding very quickly – on one side you had a group protesting police treatment of Black men, which only inspired others to make their point employing violence and public misconduct and on the other side, you had supporters that wanted to prevent damage of businesses and residential property. It was clear the Kenosha police were not ready for what was becoming an uncontrollable situation in Kenosha. But one has to ask quite plainly which group was there to harm and which group was there to help protect? It’s not a hard question and clearly, obvious that ensuing violence and deaths were a direct result of a situation that was out of control. To some, this situation was becoming another Seattle in which 6 city blocks were blockaded and pronounced an Autonomous Zone. Do you recall what happened in Seattle on or around June 8th, 2020? On Tuesday, ANTIFA essentially took six square blocks in Seattle hostage, declaring it an “autonomous zone,” which they named “Capitol Hill Free Zone.” The Domestic Terrorist Organization had barricaded all entry points to the area, and members were asking residents to provide armed guards, as reported by journalist and previous ANTIFA target Andy Ngo according to an Article posted by Grace Saldana on Jun 11, 2020, titled ANTIFA Has America Under Siege in the FreedomWire website. What makes this so profound is the activities of ANTIFA still resounded throughout the nation at that time. Although now, some don’t even remember it because the political left inspired and condoned this behavior, and Wisconsin residents and people from neighboring towns and states weren’t going to have it. What was happening in Kenosha was just another example of the “Downward Spiral of Society.” Check out my podcast on this subject to give you an overview of a society in decline.

Now, as the daytime protest ended the Kenosha Police Department issues a curfew to lessen the likelihood of additional violent behavior and damage, but like spoiled children whose parent's declined to provide a good ass-whipping, the protestors began a night of disorderly conduct and vandalism all in the name of Racial Justice. That’s right, I said it – parents of these protesting young adults should not have foregone the rod because it spoiled the child and left their education by Leftist Groups and anti-social, anti-societal, and anti-governmental groups. I am deviating and I apologize, but the truth is the truth. Parents who have children and unleash them onto a society like ravenous wolves who didn’t get attention, a moral education, or just plain guidance of right and wrong are just as guilty as the protestors and these radical groups that thrive today. In addition, the overall complacency of Americans permitting the radicalization of the government is also a responsibility that has led to the decline in our society.

Now, let’s take a closer look at the results of the last several days and nights leading to the fatal shootings of Anthony Huber, Joseph Rosenbaum, and the wounding of Gaige Paul Grosskreutz by alleged “White Supremacist, vigilante, and murderer;” Kyle Rittenhouse. Yes, I have to mention these terms or declarations by the media because this is what CNN, ABC, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, and a few of the major media outlets determined without proof who this 17-year-old was at the time. But I am getting ahead of myself slightly.

Anthony Huber and his girlfriend Hannah Gittings while claiming not to be heavy activists and according to them; known friends of Jacob Blake decided to show their support of the protests by going to Kenosha. Although admittedly violating the imposed curfew they took it upon themselves to be there in hopes of supporting the need for basic human rights, civil rights, and equality. I guess taking the same amount of energy to write to their local, state, and government officials were out of the question. However, they acknowledged a curfew was in place and public destruction of businesses and private property was committed by protestors. Which I think was either sheer stupidity or the agenda of the mass mob which was something they would be willing to contribute to because these protestors along with this couple were likeminded in their ideology. And let’s not forget that Anthony Huber was no angel himself – a convicted felon of assault and battery, but I will get back to them later. By this time the law enforcement teams have disbursed the large crowd into a much smaller crowd of stragglers, still adamant to break the curfew and continually providing resistance to their presence. So, as you can imagine the disbursement was a volley of tear gas pellets, rubber bullets, and law enforcement in typical riot gear moving the crowd back. But as much as the highly subdued officers were exercising their duties the protestors were responding with small explosives, bottles, and pushing obstacles in front of law enforcement vehicles – an escalation of civil disobedience to say the least.

Enter Gaige Grosskreutz, a career criminal and a paramedic from Milwaukee who attended the protests in Kenosha to provide help. Armed with a concealed weapon he was not authorized to carry; was simply there to provide support to anyone needing medical attention without choosing sides. So, he says. But if you are going to a protest or a situation in which you are not taking sides; it brings into question why he carried a weapon on him. Did he think the situation required armed protection? It’s a possibility. But if he felt this way, it would be fair to say that he wasn’t the only one with this feeling that safety was not guaranteed even with heavy police presence. Gaige would end up being shot in the right arm by Kyle Rittenhouse while trying to help Kyle?. One thing I noticed is the media or the public not questioning Grosskruetz’s motives and speculating on why Kyle Rittenouse went from Illinois to Wisconsin – well, the media didn’t report that Kyle was there earlier removing graffiti from the sides of a high school that was vandalized during the protests. So, this point is mute I will argue because both stated they went to Kenosha to assist.

What happens next is the Kenosha Sheriff’s Department would push the remaining protestors out of Civic Center Park down Sheridan Road, which was occupied by the armed volunteers and militia guarding the businesses in the area. It was claimed the Sheriff’s Department knowingly pushed the protestors in this direction for the armed militia groups to deal with the protestors, but that would mean the Department was complicit in their actions that would endanger the protestors. And I find it highly doubtful of the idea of moving protestors into a shooting gallery as this action would mean that law enforcement units would have had coordinated their tactical decision with the armed volunteers. Now, listen; I trained in crowd control procedures in the military and it is my opinion the actions of law enforcement were within their means to conduct crowd control into an area that would not bunch up the protestors and create a frenzy of confusion. This tactical decision to move the protestors down Sheridan Road would provide the necessary space to permit a safe avenue of escape for the protestors, but this would require compliance from the protestors and they were being defiant and resisting attempts for a safe disbursal. As an ex-military soldier and militia member Ryan Balch claimed that police informed him they had preemptively planned to herd the protestors toward the militia for a possible confrontation, but that was vehemently denied by County Sheriff David Beth. It should be noted that Ryan Balch used his social media accounts to link to a Nazi propaganda video, amplified white nationalist Richard Spencer, and uploaded symbols associated with the so-called boogaloo movement, (SPLC) or Southern Poverty Law Center determined. But the reliability by both Ryan Balch and the SPLC is controversial because the SPLC is known to designate individuals or groups on a Hate Watch list without merit. However, Hatewatch tied Balch to a Twitter account that also indicates he was immersed in white supremacist propaganda before traveling to Kenosha. Balch published to Twitter on Feb. 3, 2017, a link to a website that featured a video of explicit Nazi propaganda. The bottom line is these allegations by Ryan Balch were unsubstantiated.

Because of the chance meeting between Ryan Balch and Kyle Rittenhouse that evening, does that make Kyle Rittenhouse a White Supremacist? It doesn’t by any means. And this symbol that was used to declare Kyle was a White Supremacist has been debunked. This symbol still means okay, okay? The media has been declaring that he is because of this one-night encounter between the two. But those media outlets will say anything a boost their ratings. Like the Russia Dossier. Anyway, I had to throw that in there. But make no mistake the presence of Black Lives Matter activists, the protestors, and certain militia groups was a recipe for more conflict that would lead up to the two fatal shootings and wounding of Joseph Rosenbaum, Anthony Huber, and Gaige Grosskreutz. It was inevitable the situation would be a pathway to more mayhem resulting in an armed confrontation by a 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse.

Convicted child rapist Joseph Rosenbaum recently released on August 25th, 2020 from a mental hospital after receiving treatment joins the protestors and begins to have verbal and physical confrontations with them. In addition, his first recorded confrontation was with a militiaman who looked like Kyle Rittenhouse. As you can see Joseph Rosenbaum was not there to support any cause other than to be an agitator who unfortunately would meet his demise at the hands of Kyle Rittenhouse. Yet, some will eulogize him as a great father, good citizen, and hero, but surprisingly they will ignore these previous antics caught on this footage. I bet you his victims would paint a different picture of Rosenbaum. So, was the shooting a self-defense move on the part of Kyle Rittenhouse, or did he purposefully target Joseph Rosenbaum? A very stupid question, don’t you think? But this is exactly why our society is so upside down because we praise the unruly, dangerous, and antisocial behaviors, which endangers the average citizen and criminalize the victim for defending themselves, even if it ends in a fatality. What ensued was Kyle Rittenhouse had walked past Joseph Rosenbaum. Rosenbaum began to chase him after his previous confrontation with the armed militiamen and proceeded to throw a plastic bag with his belongings. Without any backup, Kyle Rittenhouse attempted to escape from Joseph Rosenbaum until he lunged for the AR-15 in Rittenhouse's possession which ended with the first fatality of the evening. Kyle Rittenhouse fired four rounds from his AR-15 into Joseph Rosenbaum. What would you have done? Is this shooting justifiable? Was Kyle Rittenhouse in imminent danger? Watch this video and you decide? Now, what the media didn’t tell you is Kyle Rittenhouse didn’t flee immediately from the scene. He made a phone call or tried to communicate with someone that he had shot someone when the crowd gave chase. And that is when he was attacked by Anthony Huber and Gaige Grosskreutz.

Anthony Huber attempted to disarm Rittenhouse by swinging a skateboard at his head after another individual would attempt to stomp his head into the ground, but Kyle fired a fatal shot into his chest while on his back defensively. A lucky shot by all accounts, but the media would say differently of course. Then Gaige Grosskreutz would display his weapon a small-caliber handgun and would be shot in the arm by Rittenhouse. And it wasn’t until Rittenhouse could get his bearings that he got up from this ferocious mele. And where do you think he headed next? He went to turn himself into the hands of law enforcement but was not immediately arrested. But the media would have you believe that Anthony Huber and Gaige Grosskreutz were only trying to disarm him – sure with a skateboard over his skull and a weapon pointed at him. Sorry, these two were out for blood, vigilante-style, and Kyle Rittenhouse defended himself.
What do you think was going on in his mind at this point? Is this the actions of a vigilante or a person bent on going on a shooting spree? Or just a teenager who killed a grown man of 36 years in age confused and scared? Once the crowd had identified him as an active shooter, which by the way is a contradiction in terms – he tried to run to safety. But as you will see the crowd would be unrelenting in trying to bring Kyle Rittenhouse down by any or all means necessary. Again, what would you do in this situation? Furthermore, a crowd began to chase him, and two individuals: Anthony Huber and Gaige Grosskreutz would be shot and injured. Why didn’t Kyle Rittenhouse, this so-called White Supremacist and individual looking to kill someone just open fire into the crowd during the chase? Easy, he wasn’t a White Supremacist nor an individual hell-bent on going on a shooting spree. But public opinion has been marred by the inaccurate and biased reporting of several media outlets to taint and incite more anguish over the loss of two men who weren’t Black during a Black Lives Matter protest. And this was an opportunity for the media to charge the 2nd Amendment Rights require more stringent laws.

The lives of those people involved will have been changed forever, but the reality here is that the real crime was the protestors turn rioters and looters were not the focus of the true story about Kenosha Wisconsin. Yes, it was a tragedy that there was the loss of lives, destruction of businesses, and private property – but protesting doesn’t give you the right to run amok on an unsuspecting community. I support the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhopuse although his heart was in the right place and his motives slightly naive in thinking he would be accepted to provide help to a mob bent on destruction and archaic behavior. This young teenager who has demonstrated a characteristic for helping his fellow man could tragically have been a victim of protestors that have no morals and value anarchy. And these protestors claim to be fighting for civil rights and equality – but with violence, arson, looting, and rioting.

Then Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and the Democratic party politicized the Rittenhouse shootings by declaring Kyle Rittenhouse was a White Supremacist and attempt to curtail your gun rights guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment. A political ploy to sway public opinion and poison the public before his trial. And don’t permit the media to fool you or convince you that what transpired in Kenosha Wisconsin was racially motivated. White on White crime isn’t a concern for the Black Lives Matter movement; I would think they would be celebrating the fact that it was a white-on-white incident. However, protecting the homes and businesses from rioters and, looters is the concern of all. It’s what separates the humane from the inhumane or it's just plain civility.

So my conclusion is this – there are quite a few responsible parties for what happened in Kenosha Wisconsin that began with the shooting of Jacob Blake – and antagonists and agitators came upon that community, like a swarm of locust to bring nothing but havoc, not a plea for Racial Justice; just plain havoc. And those who are declaring Kyle Rittenhouse the cause and effect of this incident are only fooling themselves. What was avoided - another attempt by the media and antisocial groups to establish another Seattle-like beachhead of domestic terrorism in the sleepy town of Kenosha Wisconsin. And another issue that has been avoided is Kyle Rittenhouse went to Kenosha to help; can you say the same for the BLM activists or the protestors? Everyone had a motive for being in Kenosha – and for the most part, the town was vandalized, burned, and looted for the sake of Racial Justice. Give me a break.
I ask you all to do one thing, put aside your political and racial bias – and look at the evidence. This isn’t about White privilege, it's about calling out radical groups like ANTIFA and BLM. Americans have the right to defend themselves, homes, and property and if these extremist domestic terrorist s groups think they can make demands through fear and violence – they’re going to be sadly disappointed. Disregard the rhetoric of the media and use your critical thinking skills and see this trial for what it is. The act of defending yourself is still a right you can exercise even if another person or persons try to do you harm.
